Hello beautiful creatives! I am one of this crazy persons that never gets tired to create, read about it, has more art supplies than shoes and loves to meet up with my art friends. It is such a blessing to have this passion in my life and I want the same for your! For that precise reason, I created this blog. Welcome!.

How I started

When I was in my twenties I came across a drawing class,..that was the first step of a long journey. Everything interested me. From charcoal to acrylic paint, academic drawing to towns cape. But the moment I started mixing different technics, experimenting, creating freely, that is when it started feeling like I was HOME.

And to my amazement there was even a therm to it. MIXED MEDIA!

What I have been up to

For the last 15 years I have been painting, exhibiting my work and my creations have found new home in many different countries around the globe. (I do have a separate website for my paintings) www.yvonnemorell.com

Teaching has become a precious part of my activity since I love to exchange and build friendships.

Since the beginning of the 2019 I also have a new passion, drawing on location. Sketching leaving my studio behind and create outside.
