30 days drawing Challenge

Hello Creatives!!!

Let’s get ready for the Drawing or Art CHALLENGE, and dive right in! It is all about SHOWING UP EVERY DAY and CREATING!

You can spend 10 minutes every day or 2 hours, it is up to you. ….but just think about it. Even if you only have 10 minutes, this will make 5 hours by the end of the challenge, that you might would have spent on the couch!

I am always amazed at how much we can improve our skills and how it brings the motivation level up when participating in a challenge.

When does the drawing challenge start and how does it work?

  • We start on the 1 of October or anytime after that.
  • There is a prompt for every day (check the list below) You can draw for 5 minutes or 2 hours, it is all up to you! Some prompts will be posted on a precise day on this blogpost.
  • You can simply draw for yourself, or you can share your drawing. (links below)

Can I join, if I have another ART project?

Absolutely! It is all about showing up and improving. You might have a painting that you really want to finish, a particular skill you want to accomplish. Go for it!

Keep the same PERSONAL theme for the next four Mondays and Tuesdays! So what will it be? I will choose to draw portraits (profile view). What art supplies do you need if you join the 30 days drawing challenge?

You can use whatever you have. It can even be done with a simple pencil or pen and any type of paper. It might also be the moment to go though your art supplies and pick up some material you have not used in a long time!

But we all know, it is so much fun than to prepare for a new project, a class or challenge and get some art supplies. (I am a master in finding an excuse to get a new sketchbook or new pen..) I made a list of what MY essentials are for creating anywhere. Check it out below.
